Giorgi Kontridze - Gujias

Window Project presents "Gujia", a solo presentation of Giorgi Kontridze, in the public art vitrine at Rustaveli Street 37. The installation consists of independent oil on paper artworks. The installation consists of separate works of art painted in oil on paper. The inscriptions on the pictorial images and mirror proportions give the paintings a poster-like appearance. The installation is dedicated to Gujia, the artist's uncle, who was killed before Kontridze's birth and about whom his "memories" are based only on kind stories left in other people's memories.

Giorgi Kontridze was born in Ozurgeti, he studies at the Faculty of Visual Arts and Design of the Free University - VA[A]DS.
